Laura K. Zeigler

Ms. Zeigler is Senior Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop practical and efficient wealth transfer plans, and for guiding the firm on fiduciary issues.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Laura was an attorney in the Private Wealth group at Katten.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She also serves on the California Lawyers Association Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section (TEXCOM) and is a former Professional Advisory Board Member of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. Laura was a finalist for the Los Angeles Business Journal Corporate Counsel of the Year in 2012-2015 and a Southern California Rising Star in Estate Planning and Trusts in Los Angeles magazine.

Laura earned an LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law, a J.D., salutatorian and magna cum laude, from John Marshall Law School, and a B.A. from Southern Methodist University. She also clerked for Judge G. Alan Blackburn on the Georgia Court of Appeals.
