Joseph S. Tanious

Mr. Tanious is Managing Director and National Senior Investment Strategist at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he performs macroeconomic research and financial market analysis in order to deliver customized asset allocation and investment recommendations to clients. He is a member of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee, Investment Policy and Strategy Committee, and co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Joe was a global market strategist at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Before that, he worked at Wells Fargo Asset Management as Regional Director, responsible for Institutional Sales.

He is a frequent guest on Bloomberg TV and CNBC, has appeared on PBS’ Nightly Business Report, and is often quoted in the financial press.

Joe earned an M.B.A. in finance and economics from Columbia Business School, where he was awarded the Robert A. Toigo Foundation Fellowship, and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Irvine. He is a CFA® charterholder.
