Alice C. Davenport
Senior Client Advisor
Ms. Davenport is Principal and Senior Client Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she leads a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. Previously, she served as an Estate Planner for the firm.
Prior to joining Bessemer in 2011, Alice was Director of Advisor Development at Bernstein Global Wealth Management and Senior Tax and Estate Planning Analyst in the firm’s Wealth Management group. Before that, Alice was an attorney at Carter Ledyard & Milburn and Jackson Tufts Cole & Black. Previously, she clerked for the White Mountain Apache Tribe.
Alice earned a J.D. from Yale Law School, serving on the Admissions Committee of the Yale Law Journal and as Executive Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law. She earned an M.P.A. in environmental policy and an A.B. in Russian and Soviet studies, with distinction, from Cornell University. Alice lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter.
