Kenneth Grimes

Mr. Grimes is Senior Investment Strategist at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he performs macroeconomic research and financial market analysis in order to deliver customized asset allocation and investment recommendations to clients.
 
Prior to joining Bessemer, Ken served as a principal at True Alpha Partners, where he provided consulting and early stage investments in technology startups. Before that, he worked as an equity analyst and director of research at Herndon Capital, Piedmont Investment Advisors, and EARNEST Partners.
 
He is an ardent supporter of STEM education and currently serves on the Board of Directors of STEM NOLA, a New Orleans non-profit that provides STEM education programs for K-12 students. He also volunteers with Echoing Green and the Miller Center, non-profits that provide funding and support for social entrepreneurs.     
 
Ken earned an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, an M.S.E.E. from Boston University, and a B.S., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in physics from Morehouse College.
