Zachary Lazar

Mr. Lazar is Principal and Senior Wealth Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for initiating relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and presenting solutions across the firm’s comprehensive capabilities in Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. He leverages 35 years of experience in private wealth management.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2026, Zachary was Regional Director for Private Client Services at Capital Group, where he led ultra-high-net-worth wealth management businesses across the Midwest and Northeast. Before that, he held senior executive leadership roles while advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices on complex investment, wealth transfer, business succession, philanthropic, and legacy planning matters. He has also led multidisciplinary advisory teams dedicated to delivering highly personalized advice and exceptional client service.

He serves on the boards of directors of The Richard H. Driehaus Museum, the Lurie Children's Hospital Foundation, The Joffrey Ballet (Life Trustee), and the University Club of Chicago.

Zachary earned a B.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago.
