Vikas Bangia

Mr. Bangia is Managing Director and Co-Chief Information Security Officer at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for providing strategic guidance on security architecture and operations. He serves as Chair of the Corporate Information Security & Privacy Committee (CISPC) and is a member of the Crisis Management Operations Team, Digital Technology Committee, Office Closure Team, and Operational Risk Management Working Group.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2006, Vikas served as a project manager for Ernst & Young, where he focused on encryption technologies. Before that, he was the Information Technology Manager at a global fragrance and flavor company.

He is a member of the SANS Advisory Board and InfraGard.

Vikas earned an M.S. in cyber security from Brown University, a B.S. in biochemistry from the Ohio State University, and is a graduate of the Executive Information Technology Management program at Columbia University. He is a GIAC Certified Incident Handler and Penetration Tester and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certifications.
