Fiduciary Officer

Mr. Harrison is Senior Vice President and Fiduciary Officer at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for managing fiduciary administration risk and advising on matters of trust administration. He is a member of the firm’s Special Investments and Discretionary Distributions Committee.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2024, Tommy was Chief Fiduciary Officer for a trust department in the D.C. metropolitan area. Previously, he was a tax and trusts and estates attorney in private practice and taught estate planning and federal taxation of wealth transfer at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

He is a member of the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council, the Taxation and Trusts and Estate Law sections of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia State Bar, the Maryland Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar.

Tommy earned a J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School and was a visiting third-year student at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. He earned a B.S. in public administration from George Mason University.
