Thomas C. Janson

Mr. Janson is Principal and Senior Client Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2004, Tom was Associate Director at Barclays Capital, in the New York and Miami offices, where he worked in the corporate banking, investment banking, and capital markets divisions. During his tenure at Barclays, Tom worked with U.S.- and Latin America-based institutional clients in structuring and underwriting syndicated debt and structured finance facilities.

Tom earned an M.B.A., Beta Gamma Sigma, from the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management and a B.S., magna cum laude, in finance and economics from Boston College. He is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor and is fluent in Spanish.
