Ted Lord

Mr. Lord is Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for initiating relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and presenting solutions across the firm’s comprehensive capabilities in Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2025, Ted was a private banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Before that, he worked at Goldman Sachs as Private Wealth Advisor. Previously, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an F/A-18 Hornet pilot, conducting three overseas deployments.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

Ted earned an M.B.A., with honors, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A., cum laude, in international affairs from the George Washington University. He lives with his wife and two children in Carlsbad, CA.
