Scott D. Kantor

Mr. Kantor is Senior Vice President and Director of P&C Insurance Advisory at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads the Property and Casualty Insurance Advisory team and is responsible for providing and reviewing personal insurance programs for clients, making recommendations, and implementing changes to improve coverage based on risk exposures.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2018, Scott was Vice President and Personal Lines Manager at BNC Insurance Agency, Inc., where he led a department that included over 3,800 clients and over 30 insurance carriers. Before that, he held multiple positions at Liberty Mutual, where he worked in the Underwriting, Marketing, Sales, and Industry & Regulatory Relations departments.

He is a past board member of the New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association and the Motor Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corporation. He also served as a member of Kemper’s Agent Advisory Council.

Scott earned a B.A. in American Studies from Brandeis University, where he was an All-American runner.
