Sarah Grandfield

Fiduciary Counsel

Ms. Grandfield is Principal and Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop practical and efficient wealth transfer plans, and for guiding the firm on fiduciary issues.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2025, Sarah served as Vice President and Trust Counsel at a privately held trust company in Boston. Before that, she was a partner in the Private Clients and Fiduciary Services Group of the law firm of Verrill Dana, LLP. She began her legal career in the Wealth Management Group at Choate, Hall & Stewart, LLP.

She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Boston Estate Planning Council, and the Boston Bar Association, for which she co-chairs the Section on Trust Administration.

Sarah earned a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Georgetown University, College of Arts and Sciences.
