Nicholas Hulwi

Mr. Hulwi is Principal and Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop practical and efficient wealth transfer plans, and for guiding the firm on fiduciary issues.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2025, Nick was an attorney and partner in the trusts and estates departments of two well-established, Minneapolis-based law firms. Previously, he served as an attorney in the Estate and Gift Tax Program at the Internal Revenue Service.

He is a member of the State Bars of California, Nevada, Minnesota, and North Dakota.

Nick earned an LL.M. in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law, a J.D., cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, and a B.S. in finance from Minnesota State University.
