Mark Sopcik

Mr. Sopcik is Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for initiating relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and presenting solutions across the firm’s comprehensive capabilities in Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Offices Services. He leverages two decades of experience across accounting, institutional investing, entrepreneurship, financial technology, and private wealth management.
Prior to joining Bessemer in 2026, Mark was a private banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and executives. Before that, he served as Head of Customer Success at Finalis, a venture-backed investment fintech firm. Previously, he founded and served as CEO of an e-commerce company. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining AQR Capital Management, where he was a financial analyst.
He serves on the University of South Florida Alumni Association and the Nault Entrepreneurship Center Board of Directors.
Mark earned an M.S. in accounting and a B.S. in accounting from the University of South Florida, where he played Division I football on a full athletic scholarship. He is a CFA® charterholder, a member of the CFA Society of Tampa Bay, and was previously licensed as a CPA. He lives with his wife and son in Tampa, FL.
