Jeffrey Mills

Mr. Mills is Chief Investment Strategist at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he oversees the Investment Strategy, Portfolio and Construction, Quantitative Strategies, and Trading and Portfolio Operations teams. In addition, he is responsible for macroeconomic research and financial market analysis that helps deliver customized asset allocation and investment recommendations to clients. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Jeff was Chief Investment Officer at Bryn Mawr Trust. Prior to that, he held various roles at PNC Financial Services Group, including Chief Investment Strategist of the company’s multi-family office (Hawthorn) and Co-Chief Investment Strategist of PNC Asset Management.

He chairs the Investment Committee at LaSalle College High School, where he also serves on the board of trustees, and serves on the Lyme Disease Research Center’s Advisory Board at Johns Hopkins.

Jeff earned an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, U.K., an M.Sc. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, where he played Division I lacrosse.
