Han You B. Tan

Mr. Tan is Vice President and Real Estate Asset Manager at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for assisting with the asset management of real property investments held in trusts and estates and providing proactive, highly personalized guidance and due diligence assistance on various real estate matters.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2021, Ben was Senior Consultant at Altus Group, responsible for valuation management for institutional commercial real estate clients and their portfolios. Before that, he was Associate at Clarion Partners, responsible for working with asset managers in overseeing retail shopping centers on the West Coast. Prior to relocating to the U.S., Ben served as First Lieutenant in Singapore’s military.

Ben earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Southern California, where he received the Marshall School of Business Certificate of Excellence and Leadership in Real Estate Finance.
