G. Gernon Brown III

Mr. Brown is Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. He leverages more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2002, Gernon worked as an equity analyst and a portfolio manager at Alex Brown Capital Advisory & Trust. He taught high school English prior to starting his investment career.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Boston Senior Home Care.

Gernon earned an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, an M.A.T. from Tulane University, and a B.A. from the University of New Orleans.
