Ms. Elting is Founder and CEO of the Elizabeth Elting Foundation, and Co-Founder of TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and business solutions. A New York-based philanthropist and businesswoman, Liz holds awards for outstanding entrepreneurship, including the Working Woman “Entrepreneurial Excellence” Award for Customer Service, the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award, the American Express-Entrepreneur magazine “Woman of the Year” Award and the 2019 Charles Waldo Haskins Award for business and public service from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Liz has also been named one of Forbes magazine’s “Richest Self-Made Women” for the past five years, and her leadership has been profiled in several books including The New York Times bestseller Succeed by Your Own Terms (McGraw-Hill).

She serves on the Board of Trustees at Trinity College and is a founder of Trinity’s Women’s Leadership Council, and the Elting Family Research Fund to support initiatives for the International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation. She is on the New York City board of the American Heart Association and on the NYU Stern School of Business Board of Overseers.

Liz earned an M.B.A. in finance and international business from the New York University Stern School of Business and a B.A. in modern languages and literatures from Trinity College.
