Eleonora Lawrence

Ms. Lawrence is Senior Vice President and Information Security Risk Oversight Manager at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s Information Security Risk Assessment and Business Continuity Management programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational resilience.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2021, Ellie was Vice President at CIT Group Inc., where she led a transformational enhancement of the business continuity and disaster recovery program, achieving significant operational efficiencies. Before that, she was Assistant Vice President at Jefferies, assisting in the management of the business continuity and disaster recovery program.

She is a member of the Disaster Recovery International Institute, ISACA, and the Association for Continuity Professionals (ACP). Ellie is a certified therapy dog handler and an active member of Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, where she and her therapy dog bring comfort and support to those in need.

Ellie holds several certifications, including ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), DRII Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), and the PECB ISO/IEC-27001 Implementer Certification.
