Daniel Hughes

Mr. Hughes is Vice President and Senior Municipal Research Analyst at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he approves and monitors municipal bonds held in mutual funds and client accounts. In addition, he performs in-depth analysis of municipal sectors and credits, focusing on state and local governments, utilities, and transportation.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2019, Daniel was a municipal bond credit analyst at S&P Global Ratings and a senior financial loan analyst at the Oklahoma Water Resources Board.

Daniel earned a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a B.B.A. in finance with a minor in geography from the University of Iowa.
