A. Kent Kalvaitis

Mr. Kalvaitis is Managing Director, Senior Client Advisor, and Director of Structured Solutions at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. He also serves as a resource to the firm’s advisors and Investment Group with respect to complex risk management strategies. He is a member of the firm’s Banking Committee and Investment Risk Committee.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2010, Kent was on the structured investments teams at J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and Wachovia, helping high-net-worth individuals understand market risks and strategizing to provide risk management solutions across asset classes. Before joining the financial services industry, he spent five years in the United States Navy as a nuclear-trained officer on board the USS Pasadena.

Kent earned an M.B.A. with concentrations in finance and business economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S.E. in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University.
