Anand Parekh

Anand Parekh is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alyeska Investment Group. Anand focuses on risk management, portfolio construction and capital allocation as well as the strategic direction of the firm through his role as CEO at Alyeska. Prior to starting Alyeska in 2007, Anand was a partner at Citadel Investment Group where he built and ran the Global Equities and Reinsurance businesses. Prior to Citadel, Anand was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets division, where he held various senior positions in emerging markets, global risk management and structured derivative products. Anand has a BS in Mathematics and English Literature from the University of Michigan.
