Bruce A. Whiteford

Mr. Whiteford is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leverages the firm’s best thinking and works collaboratively with a team of highly-experienced analysts and researchers to manage our municipal bond strategy and offering. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Strategy Committee, the Banking and Loan Committee, and the Employee Advisory Board.
 
Prior to joining Bessemer, Bruce worked at Chase Manhattan Bank as Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in the private bank. Before that, he worked as a portfolio manager at U.S. Trust and a credit analyst at Moody’s Investors’ Service. He has previously served as a FINRA arbitrator and is a member of the Municipal Forum of New York.

Bruce earned a B.S. in finance from the University of South Carolina.
