The 2016 ACTEC Summer Meeting was held in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 16-18, 2016. A summary of my observations from the seminars at the meeting is available on the link below.

The meeting included a fantastic one-day "bootcamp" regarding the fiduciary income tax. The linked summary is longer than usual, in an effort to create a helpful resource summarizing the outstanding discussion of a broad array of fiduciary income tax issues (including state fiduciary income tax matters).

Other seminars address roles that attorneys may play other than traditional practice roles (such as serving as trustees, trust directors, or serving with family offices).
