Timothy S. McBride

Mr. McBride is Managing Director and Region Head at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for Bessemer’s client relationships in the Northern U.S., including oversight of our offices in Boston and Chicago. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and a director on the Bessemer Investor Services Board.

Tim has worked in financial services for his entire career and was named a “Five Star Wealth Manager” by Boston magazine.

He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Chief Executives Club of Boston. Tim serves, or has served, on boards and committees for several non-profit organizations including the Catholic Schools Inner-City Scholarship Fund, Life is Good Kids’ Foundation®, Boston Estate Planning Council (former President), Family Firm Institute, Dana Farber, and the Boston Foundation.

Tim earned an M.B.A. and a J.D. from Suffolk University, a B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University, and attended the Executive Program at M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Business. He is a CFP® professional and an Accredited Estate Planner. Tim lives with his wife and five children in Hingham, MA.
