Mr. Marquez has overall responsibility for Bessemer’s efforts in Florida, including management of client relationships and new business development for Bessemer’s offices in Miami, Palm Beach and Naples. Previously, he served as the head of Bessemer’s Miami office.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Mr. Marquez was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, after serving as a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Group in New York. Previously, he spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Manager in the Global Capital Markets Group.

Mr. Marquez earned an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School and a B.S. magna cum laude from Boston College. He is a Certified Public Accountant, holds Series 7, 63, 24, and 10 securities licenses, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

A native of Miami, Mr. Marquez is active in the community and serves on the Board of Governors of the Miami Foundation and on the Board of Directors of Amigos for Kids.
