Mr. Holt manages Bessemer's Denver office as Regional Director and Managing Director. He is responsible for business development in Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming. He is also responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships through regular client communication, coordinating client service delivery and consulting with client advisors. He oversees a team of client advisors and administrative personnel and draws on the skills of internal and external experts to deliver services in investment management, legacy planning, trust administration, tax planning, real estate advisory, private banking and other financial services. Prior to joining Bessemer Trust in 2007, Mr. Holt was one of the founding members of AllianceBernstein’s Denver office. Prior to that, he ran the Investment Group and a multi-billion dollar portfolio for Frost Bank in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Holt spent nine years in the Air Force, where he was an award-winning Finance Professor at the United States Air Force Academy and received commendations for the role he played in developing the acquisition strategy for the replacement of the nation’s overhead imaging assets.

Mr. Holt serves on the Board of Trustees of The Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE) and serves on the Denver Museum of Nature and Science President’s Leadership Council. He is one of the Co-Founders of “Friday Night Fights” which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities. Mr. Holt graduated from the Air Force Academy with academic distinction and received an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a CFA charterholder.
