Mr. McNeel has responsibility for client business development from the Chicago office, and is actively involved with existing client relationships
Prior to joining Bessemer in 1996, Mr. McNeel was Head of Personal Investments and Trust at the First National Bank of Chicago. Previous business experience includes positions in corporate banking at Chemical Bank in New York and Chicago.
Mr. McNeel earned an A.B. degree in Economics from The College of William & Mary and an M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University. He is a Trustee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. In addition he is a Trustee and Head of the Investment Committee of the Newberry Library. He also serves on the Board of the Solti Foundation U.S. and the Advisory Council of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art/Eastman Memorial Foundation.
