Mr. Elliott oversees strategic initiatives, including new services and geographic expansion. He works with the Family Company Advisory Group to expand Bessemer’s involvement with private company owners. He is also actively involved with the family office community on behalf of Bessemer Trust.

He joined the firm in 1975 to oversee client account management and business development. Previously, Mr. Elliott was with the Trust Division of American Security and Trust Company in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Elliott received a B.A. in Political Science and a J.D. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the American Bar Association. Mr. Elliott is Trustee Emeritus of The Foundation Center, New York City. In addition, he is Chairman of the American University of Paris Foundation, and serves as a member of the Board of Regents of Winthrop-University Hospital, Long Island. Mr. Elliott was a founding advisory faculty member of the Institute for Private Investors, New York.
