Mr. Elliott currently oversees strategic initiatives, including new products, services and geographic expansion. He continues to represent Bessemer Trust in its relationship with London-based Stanhope Capital. He will also work with the Family Company Advisory Group to expand Bessemer’s involvement with private company owners. He is also responsible for marketing, which includes advertising, public relations, events, and publications.

He joined the firm in 1975 to oversee client account management and business development. Previously, Mr. Elliott was with the Trust Division of American Security and Trust Company in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Elliott received a B.A. in Political Science and a J.D. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the American Bar Association. Mr. Elliott is Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee of The Foundation Center, New York City. In addition, he is a Trustee of the American University of Paris and serves as a member of the Board of Regents of Winthrop-University Hospital, Long Island. Mr. Elliott was a founding advisory faculty member of the Institute for Private Investors, New York.
