Mr. Wilcox is responsible for Bessemer's Client Account Management and New Business Groups. In addition, he oversees the Marketing Group and the Wealth Advisory Services Group, which includes client tax, real estate, oil and gas, insurance and private asset advisory services. He is a member of the Management Committee and the Trust Investment Committee, and he is chairman of the Risk Management Committee. Previously, he ran Bessemer’s Western Region as well as offices in Washington, D.C. and Miami, Florida. Mr. Wilcox joined Bessemer in 1998.

In the course of his career, Mr. Wilcox founded and served as CEO of US Venture Exchange, Inc. (acquired by NYPPE Holdings), managed investments and structured derivatives transactions for wealthy families and institutions at Legg Mason, and practiced corporate law at K & L Gates and Jones Day. He has a B.A. in Economics from Boston University, a J.D. from New England School of Law and an M.B.A. from Duke University.

In January 2012, Mr. Wilcox became president-elect of Bessemer Trust. He will assume this role in January 2013.
